What you can expect

We will photograph your baby in the clinic free of charge and without obligation and make the photos available for you to view in a password-protected online gallery.
If you like the photos, you can purchase them as digital data and/or other photo products in our online store. There is no obligation to buy.
The online gallery is available to you for 90 days. After this period, all data and photos will be deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
As a thank you for participating, you will receive 1 photo as a printout after the photo shoot.

The procedure

  • Our photographer will visit you in your room after the birth. If you are interested, an appointment for the photo shoot will be arranged at short notice.
  • The photo shoot takes place directly in the clinic under professional conditions. Clothing, scarves and accessories are provided by us.
  • 3-4 working days after the photo shoot you will receive an e-mail with access to your password-protected online gallery and our photo article store.
  • All data and photos will be deleted after 90 days. It is no longer possible to place an order after this time.

The most frequently asked questions about our range, answered by us.
Will I receive SPAM or marketing e-mails after a photo shoot?

No. Restraint is our promise and part of our concept. After a photo shoot has taken place, we only contact the mother twice and only if we have a valid e-mail address (strongly recommended). The first notification is sent approximately 3-4 working days after the photo shoot and informs about the activation of the online photo gallery on our website, the second notification is sent a few days before the final deletion of the photos from our server (90 days after publication of the gallery) if we have not received an order. No additional marketing e-mails will be sent.

How long will I be able to access the photos online?

The photos remain on our server for up to 90 days after publication and are therefore accessible online. During this time, the photos (with watermarks) can be viewed and/or orders can be placed in our store. After 90 days, the photos will be deleted promptly. This also applies to high-resolution photos that may have already been purchased. This process is irreversible and is based on our privacy policy. Earlier deletion can be requested from us at any time.

Can I buy individual photos?

Only 1 photo, no. Unfortunately, this is not compatible with our concept of free photo shoots. If we offered this, the free clinic photography would not exist. We therefore hope that you will understand this rule, which is essential to the concept and to which there are no exceptions.
We offer either 5 desired photos or all photos in the gallery (usually 30 photos) at a fair price, which is based on the market price for comparable digital photo products. This price is even reduced by 50% if a photo book or one of our savings sets is also purchased.

Why is there always talk of a free photo shoot if the products cost money later on?

Because a photo shoot refers to the work of our photographers in the clinic. We bear the costs for this, as well as for further processing so that you can view the photos online. This happens regardless of whether we receive an order later or not. This means that the photo shoot is free of charge for you, but our products based on the photo shoot are not. Even with a normal studio photo shoot, you pay for the photo shoot itself, plus the products you purchase. With us, there are no costs for the photo shoot. That's why we call our service free of charge.

How many photos can I expect from this FREE photo shoot?

A complete photo shoot consists of 30+ photos and takes a maximum of 30 minutes if your baby cooperates well. If your gallery has fewer photos, e.g. because the photo shoot had to be canceled, a new appointment can be made with our team. This is possible up to 14 days after the birth. If you do not want this and you like the few photos, you can request a discount from our team. This discount is only available for our product "All photos (digital)".

What options do I have if my baby doesn't play along on the agreed date?

We offer flexible options for this. If no further appointment is possible during your stay in the clinic or hospital, you can return to the clinic for another appointment within 14 days of the birth. Such an appointment can be arranged with our team. If you do not wish to do this and at least a few beautiful photos have been taken, you can ask our team for a discount on our "All photos (digital)" product.

Can family and/or sibling photos also be taken during the photo shoot?

Our photo shoots are dedicated to the newborn. So it should be the center of attention. Our photo shoots follow a "script" developed by us. This is designed in such a way that a sufficiently high number of different photos can be created, which enables the possible later production of products such as our photo book or calendar or also makes the acquisition of the digital data sensible. This "script" should be interrupted as little as possible. Our photographers are therefore encouraged to include no more than 3 to 4 family/sibling photos.

Why do the photos in the gallery all have such a disturbing circle?

This circle is called copy protection and is unfortunately necessary to protect our rights to the photos. We have tried to make it as unobtrusive as possible (transparency). Of course, this copy protection is only visible in the online gallery and not on our products.

Do I need to bring clothes and accessories to the photo shoot?

No, you don't have to. Our photographer has a large selection of clothes, cloths and blankets in many colors. Your baby will be photographed in two different, very beautiful bowls. There are also two different backgrounds. This makes it possible to create two different settings during the photo shoot.
