Hier finden Sie Antworten auf die häufigsten Fragen zu unserem Fotoshooting, dem Ablauf in der Klinik, zur Galerie sowie zu unseren Produkten und Datenschutzrichtlinien. Unser Ziel ist es, dass Sie sich gut informiert fühlen – klar, verständlich und auf einen Blick.
General questions
Can I buy individual photos?
We do not offer individual photos as digital files. Unfortunately, this is not compatible with the concept of free clinic photography. If we were to offer individual digital photos, we would no longer be able to offer the free photo shoot at the clinic. We therefore ask for your understanding for this important regulation, which is fundamental to the entire concept - exceptions are not possible.
Instead, you have the option of purchasing either all the photos in your gallery or five photos of your choice as a download. If you also order a photo book or a savings set, the price for all digital images is reduced by over 50 %.
If you only want a single picture, we recommend our canvas picture or the "Vintage" photo frame as an alternative - each with a print of a selected picture from your gallery.
Do I need to bring clothes or accessories?
No, that is not necessary. A large selection of accessories, blankets, scarves and outfits in various colors are available on site.
Your baby is photographed in two different bowls and in front of two different backgrounds - this creates Two visually varied settingswithout you having to bring anything with you.
Why does the product cost money if the photo shoot is free?
The photo shoot itself is free of charge for you - as is the image processing and the provision of the gallery. We will cover the costs, regardless of whether an order is placed.
Only the products you wish to purchase later are subject to a charge.
This distinguishes us from traditional photo studios, where you pay for both the shoot and each product separately.
What can I do if my baby doesn't cooperate?
If your baby does not cooperate with the first appointment and no further appointments are possible during the stay, you can make an appointment within 14 days after the birth make a new appointment - also directly at the clinic.
Are family or sibling photos also taken?
The focus of our shoots is on the newborn. Our process follows a proven concept designed to create as many varied shots as possible - ideal for photo products such as photo books, calendars or canvases. Family and sibling photos are possible to a limited extent. Our photographers are encouraged to do so, no more than 3 to 4 such images into the shoot so as not to interrupt the process and ensure the quality of the overall result.
How do I find out if you also take photos in my clinic?
Our partner clinics are listed on our website. If your clinic is not listed, please write to us - perhaps a cooperation is already planned.
How long will the photos remain available online?
Your pictures are at your disposal 90 days available in a password-protected online gallery. During this time, you can view them with a watermark and order photo products. After 90 days, the gallery will be deactivated and the data archived. All images are permanently deleted after 180 days - including high-resolution files that have already been purchased. This process is irreversible and is carried out in accordance with our data protection guidelines. A premature deletion can be applied for at any time on request.
How many photos does a gallery have?
A complete shoot usually includes 30+ photos and takes about 30 minutes - provided the baby cooperates well.
If your gallery contains fewer photos (e.g. in the event of a canceled shoot), you can request a new gallery within 14 days after the birth a catch-up date can be arranged.
If you do not wish to have another shoot but are satisfied with the existing images, the product "All photos (digital)" a discount can be requested.
My gallery & my customer data
I have lost my password or the link to the gallery - what should I do?
No problem. Send us an e-mail from the e-mail address you provided in the declaration of consent and tell us your baby's name and date of birth - we will be happy to send you the link again.
Are the photos in the gallery safe?
Yes, your gallery is password-protected and only accessible to you. Your data will be treated confidentially and deleted after the storage period has expired.
Why do the pictures in the gallery have a disturbing watermark?
The visible watermark serves as Copy protection and is intended to prevent unauthorized use of the images. We have designed it to be as unobtrusive as possible. Of course, the watermark is only visible in the online gallery - all purchased products or files contain it not.
How can I share my gallery with friends or family?
You will find a link to share in your gallery. You can easily send it to your loved ones by email, WhatsApp or social media.

Can I customize my photo book?
Ja, im Konfigurator können Sie bestimmte Texte anpassen, z. B. den Namen Ihres Babys oder das Sternzeichen. Zudem können Sie das Coverdesign sowie das Coverbild selbst auswählen. Wenn Sie möchten, können Sie bis zu fünf Lieblingsfotos angeben, die im Fotobuch verwendet werden sollen – teilen Sie uns diese einfach in der Bestellanmerkung mit.
If no selection is made, our team will compile the photo book for you - matching the layout and image sequence.
Can I choose the photos I want when I buy a set?
Yes, of course. You can select your desired photos for every product in the set, with the exception of the photo book, as we have to follow very specific criteria when selecting photos for the production of a photo book.
Why can't I choose the photos for the photo book myself?
The photo book has special requirements in terms of format, image detail and the zoom factor of the photos. Our team selects the most beautiful and most suitable photos for the book design.
Why does the product cost money if the photo shoot is free?
The photo shoot itself is free of charge for you - as is the image processing and the provision of the gallery. We will cover the costs, regardless of whether an order is placed.

Are the images retouched or edited?
Yes, our pictures are professionally edited after the shoot. Among other things, we adjust the brightness, image detail and colors to achieve a harmonious overall effect.
Retouching in the classic sense - i.e. the targeted removal of skin blemishes, redness or other details - does not take place.
If you would like a professional, manual retouching of individual photos, we offer this service for an additional charge. Please contact our team before orderingif you are interested.
Order & Shipping
Can I change my order at a later date?
As long as production has not yet started, changes can be made. Please contact us as soon as possible.
How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
The delivery time depends on the product ordered:
- Digital images You will receive a download link by e-mail immediately after purchase.
- Birth cards are produced and dispatched within approx. 5-7 working days.
- All other products (e.g. photo book, canvas, calendar) have a production and delivery time of up to 4 weeks.
Please note that all products are made individually for you - quality sometimes takes time.
How does the order process work?
Orders are placed directly via your online gallery. There you can purchase your desired products and enter any personal details (e.g. text for birth cards).
Feedback & complaint
I am not satisfied with the image selection or design - what can I do?
Please note that the design is based on your selection and our design templates. However, if there are any grounds for complaint, please contact us - we will examine your request individually.
Can I cancel or return my order?
As our products are individually designed photo products, there is no right of withdrawal. This also applies to the purchase of digital image files, as these can no longer be returned or canceled once they have been downloaded.
My product does not match the order - what now?
If something has not been produced correctly, please contact us directly. We will check the case carefully and take care of a quick clarification.
What can I do if a product has arrived damaged?
Please contact us immediately upon receipt via info@babycute.ch and attach photos of the damage. We will check your request immediately and find a solution together.
Payment
I have paid but have not received an order confirmation - what now?
Please check your spam folder. If there is nothing there either, please write to us - we will be happy to help.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We offer the most common payment methods: Credit card, TWINT, PostFinance, PayPal and on account via Klarna.
Technical problems
The configurator is not loading correctly - what can I do?
If necessary, close the gallery completely and open it again.
If the problem persists, please contact us - we will be happy to help.
I would like you to take photos in my clinic too - how does that work?
If you would also like BabyCute in your clinic, please let us know - or contact your clinic directly. Many partnerships are formed at the request of the parents.
My gallery won't open - what can I do?
Please note that your online gallery will be activated approximately 3 to 4 working days after the photo shoot. If it cannot be accessed after this time, please try a different browser or refresh the page.

Partner clinics
What does the collaboration cost the clinic?
For the clinic no costs. The entire service is organized and financed by BabyCute - parents later decide for themselves whether they want to order products.
What requirements must our clinic fulfill?
No special requirements - we adapt flexibly to your spatial and organizational circumstances. Whether with a mobile studio or directly on the bed: we will find a solution that suits you.
Who bears the costs for the photo shoot?
The photo shoots are free of charge for the clinic and the parents. Parents decide without obligation whether they wish to purchase further products in addition to the free initial printout up to 90 days after the shoot.
How do the photos get into the clinic's baby gallery?
The pictures are taken with the parents' consent and professionally edited. For publication in your clinic baby gallery, the parents fill out a written declaration of consent with us, which includes approval for publication on your website. We then upload the approved images directly to your gallery.
How long does the implementation take?
After establishing contact and a short coordination process, the collaboration can start within a few weeks.
How does it work for the parents?
All parents receive a free, no-obligation photo shoot immediately after the birth. The pictures are then professionally edited and made available in a password-protected online gallery on babycute.ch.
There, parents can view their pictures at their leisure and - if they wish - order photo products.
As a thank you, they receive a first photo free of charge, directly after the shoot - on behalf of the clinic.
How does the collaboration actually work?
After an initial consultation, we tailor the process to your clinic. We employ one or more permanent BabyCute photographers who are on site every day or every other day, depending on the size of the clinic.
How much work is involved for our hospital staff?
None. Our team takes care of the entire process: organization, implementation, communication with parents and follow-up.
How many female photographers work at the clinic?
This depends on the size and needs of your clinic. As a rule, there are one or two permanent BabyCute photographers on site who take photos regularly - either daily or every other day, depending on the clinic.
